About the Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic Water Safety Instructor to join our Aqua Learn to Swim team on a casual basis. As a Water Safety Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering professional and safe learn-to-swim classes to students enrolled in our Aqua Learn to Swim program.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Deliver the learn-to-swim program in accordance with established framework and standards.
  • Ensure classes start and finish on time, and be available after the class to consult with students and/or parents/guardians regarding the class or instruction techniques.
  • Manage and report class attendances.
  • Accurately assess swimming lesson students and complete any necessary administration resulting from this assessment.
  • Provide centre users with relevant and accurate information regarding the Learn to Swim Program and any associated program or service information.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • To hold a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification from AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia, Royal Life Saving or similar standard.
  • To have a Current CPR Certificate.
  • To possess excellent oral communication and customer service skills.
  • To hold a Current Working with Children Check.

This is a casual position, offering flexibility and variety. The hourly rate for this role starts at $29.27 plus 25% casual loading. Additionally, you will receive employee benefits such as leave entitlements, superannuation contributions, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
