The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic Learn to Swim Instructors to join our Aqua Learn to Swim team on a casual basis. This role will deliver professional and safe learn-to-swim classes to students enrolled in the Aqua Learn to Swim program.

Key Responsibilities

">

This position involves:

">
  • ">
  • Delivering the learn to swim program in accordance with framework and standards.">
  • Ensuring classes start and finish on time, being available after the class to consult with students and/or parents/guardians regarding the class or instruction techniques.">
  • Managing and reporting class attendances.">
  • Accurately assessing the swimming lesson students and completing any necessary administration resulting from this assessment.">
  • Providing centre users with relevant and accurate information regarding the Learn to Swim Program and any associated program or service information.">

Qualifications and Experience

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia, Royal Life Saving, or similar standard).">
  • A Current CPR Certificate.">
  • Excellent oral communication skills.">
  • Excellent customer service skills.">
  • A Current Working with Children Check.">

  • An estimated salary range of $29.27 - $36.35 per hour, plus 25% casual loading.">
  • Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts.">
