Job Title: Clinical Team Leader

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to lead our clinical team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based clinical services, leading and supporting our small therapy team, and managing client onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and therapy to clients in the clinic or via Telehealth

• Manage client onboarding and ensure timely completion of documentation (e.g. progress notes, reports, letters)

• Lead and support our small therapy team to provide high-quality clinical services

• Attend weekly team meetings to discuss client cases and engage in professional development

• Collaborate with key stakeholders and external health professionals

• Occasionally visit clients in the community

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

• SPA membership

• Current Working With Children Check

• National Police Check

• Full Australian Working Rights

• Eligibility for Medicare Provider Status

• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance

• Ability to work independently and seek clinical guidance as needed for safe and quality practice

• Organisation and time-management skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of evidence-based practice

• Commitment to professional development

Preferred Criteria:

• Experience working with the NDIS

• Experience supervising junior staff and/or students

• Experience or interest in working with multidisciplinary teams

• Driver's Licence
