A community-focused health and wellbeing service is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinica Team Leader to oversee the delivery of therapeutic support for individuals recovering from trauma. This fixed-term role offers an opportunity to lead a small multidisciplinary team within a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role

You will provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team delivering trauma-informed care to clients of varying ages affected by complex personal circumstances. Working alongside senior leadership, you will contribute to service quality, governance, and ongoing program development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and operational guidance to a small team of clinicians.
  • Support delivery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
  • Promote a culturally respectful, inclusive, and safe service environment.
  • Facilitate staff professional development through coaching and reflective practice.
  • Ensure adherence to best-practice care frameworks and clinical governance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different sites as required (no community or home visits).

About You

You are an experienced clinical professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered care. You value teamwork, equity, and holistic client outcomes.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (psychology, social work, counselling, or related discipline).
  • Registration with a recognised professional body.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within family violence sector.
  • At least 2 year's experience in clinical leadership or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver trauma-informed therapies across diverse client groups.
  • Strong communication and team-building skills.
  • Current clearances include Working with Children Check and Police Check.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.
  • Comfortable with client management systems or willingness to learn.
