Job Opportunity

The Regional Advisor for the APAC region will introduce TELUS's core People & Culture practices to existing and new acquisitions, ensuring alignment with local regulations and context.


Responsibilities:
  1. Lead confidential investigations and manage employee relations cases, including performance issues, workplace conflicts, and terminations.
  2. Stay current on local laws and standards, review and recommend amendments to global policies to ensure compliance, and identify regional trends to align practices accordingly.
  3. Advise the wider P&C Business Partner community on local requirements, conditions, and application of global policies within the local context.
  4. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels—including Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, leaders, and team members—to ensure project and program success.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of HR generalist experience in a fast-paced, global organization, focusing on advising, investigating, policy implementation (respect in the workplace, H&S, employee relations, compliance).
  • Proactive learner and resourceful partner with CoEs, BPs, and stakeholders to advance P&C policies in line with regional requirements.
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity, excels in collaborative environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Deep knowledge of local labor laws, employment regulations, and cultural nuances in Australia and New Zealand; regional expertise in other APAC areas is an asset.
