About the Opportunity

Troocoo is proud to partner with a leading organisation committed to enhancing its finance division. We seek an experienced Head of Financial Performance for a 4-month contract to lead financial operations.

Based in Brisbane's bayside, this opportunity drives the budgeting process, enhances forecasting accuracy, and provides strategic financial insights.

About the Role

As the Head of Financial Performance, you will lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. You will analyse variances, deliver insights for decision-making, and collaborate with senior leadership on financial strategies.

  • Oversee the organisation's budgeting process, ensuring detailed and aligned budgets, while ensuring accurate financial forecasting across divisions, delivering real-time insights into the organisation's financial position.
  • Develop KPIs, providing insights into key financial metrics, while analysing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, ensuring effective communication with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial evaluations and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and corporate governance.
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and management within a large organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present it effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools, particularly Microsoft Dynamics AX, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
