Programmed is a leading recruitment provider specializing in the placement of skilled professionals, including those in the government sector.
Job OverviewWe are seeking qualified candidates to fill various roles for the upcoming state elections. These positions will involve assisting with the electoral process and ensuring the smooth operation of polling stations.
Key Responsibilities:- Issuing Officer: Responsible for issuing ballot papers to eligible voters, rotating as a ballot box guard and queue controller.
- Student Electoral Officer: Assists with polling place duties performed by Officers, limited hours.
- Voter Information Officer: Provides support to electors with language, literacy, or other requirements, engaging centrally through the Electoral Ambassador program.
- General Assistant: Supports with the setup and pack up of polling places, assists with counting and packing ballot papers.
- Ballot Box Guard: Ensures correct ballot papers are put into ballot boxes, rotates as an Issuing Officer and Queue Controller.
- Queue Controller: Manages the queue into polling places, directing electors as needed.
To be considered for these roles, applicants must possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Prior experience in customer-facing roles or electoral processes is highly advantageous.
