We have recently been appointed as the sole recruitment partner for the Western Australian Electoral Commission and will be working to provide a 10,000-strong workforce to deliver the next state election.
Job DescriptionAs an electoral officer, you will play a vital role in the electoral process, ensuring that the voting process runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include issuing ballot papers, rotating as a ballot box guard and queue controller, and conducting counts after 6 pm.
You will work on polling day, from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, with the possibility of weekend work. The specific dates and times may vary depending on the location and the needs of the electoral commission.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. You will also need to be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
No prior experience is required, but you must be willing to undergo training and development to ensure your success in this role.
