Job Description

As a seasoned Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of designers to deliver innovative and optimal outcomes for our clients. Your expertise will be essential in developing and maintaining professional working relationships with stakeholders and senior executives to meet business objectives.

The successful Design Manager will lead the design process through proactive interaction with clients, design collaborators, construction delivery teams, and stakeholders. You will collaborate with other design management personnel to continuously improve office processes and standards, ensuring the highest quality results are delivered.

  • Develop strong relationships with senior executives and client interfaces to deliver contractual obligations within agreed timelines.
  • Liaise with clients, government authorities, service authorities, and other stakeholders to provide technical input as required and obtain relevant approvals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in engineering, with substantial experience in design management.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English, and the ability to prepare documentation, spreadsheets, and presentations to a high level.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to determine priorities and meet multiple deadlines.

Degree Required: Bachelor of Engineering

Qualification: Chartered Engineer (CPEng)
