As a mechanical designer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality designs and drawings from engineer calculations and sketches.

Key responsibilities include managing drafting resources to achieve project deliverables on time and ensuring design compliance with Australian and international standards.

  • Design and Drawing
    • Produce accurate and detailed mechanical designs and drawings
    • Develop plant layouts from project data and design information

You will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 6+ years' experience in Mechanical Design/Drafting
  • Proficiency in designing materials handling and process plants
  • Effective supervision of drafting personnel
  • Understanding of fabrication and construction techniques
  • Experience with MicroStation 2D and 3D
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering Design Drafting
  • Strong people and relationship skills
