Are you a motivated and experienced paralegal or law clerk looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Injury Paralegal/Law Clerk- TPD Specialist to join our team at AFL Recruitment.

About the Role

In this key role, you will provide high-quality support to our talented partner in assisting seriously injured clients obtain justice in respect of their TPD (total permanent disablement)/income protection/trauma insurance claims via their superannuation fund+ other insurance policies.

You will have the opportunity to gain broad-spectrum experience, including obtaining client instructions, reviewing medical evidence+ trust deed/insurance policies, legal research, providing technical legal advice, liaising with the super fund, insurers/their solicitors and doctors, briefing counsel and attending court/settlement conferences.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1.5 years OR MORE PLAINTIFF personal injury legal experience (including 12 months minimum in TPD with active file management experience);
  • Strong Microsoft Office (including Word) skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Hungry to progress your personal injury legal career LONG-TERM with an employer committed to investing in your success.
