Personal Injury Paralegal/Law Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and client-service oriented Personal Injury Paralegal/Law Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months+ experience in personal injury law, preferably in workers compensation, CTP, TPD, public liability, medical negligence, or abuse.

The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Word skills, including typing, and be able to work in a fast-paced interactive environment. They will be responsible for assisting solicitors, barristers, doctors, and insurers, as well as preparing briefs to barristers, diary management, and filing/administration.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly respected plaintiff firm with extensive depth and breadth of specialist personal injury expertise. You will be part of a winning team headed up by an outstanding Accredited Specialist Senior Lawyer and will have the chance to progress your legal career with a top personal injury law firm helping injured plaintiffs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting solicitors with obtaining full justice for plaintiff clients
  • Preparing briefs to barristers
  • Diary management and making appointments
  • Filing and administration
  • Interacting with clients, solicitors, barristers, doctors, and insurers
