Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking experienced nurses to join our emergency department on a permanent part-time or full-time basis.
About The Role- Nurses with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care are highly sought after.
- Dedicated professionals will deliver safe and evidence-based nursing care.
- Our team members will educate and support patients in managing their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team is essential.
- Patient and staff safety is paramount.
We are located in the north-west suburbs of Melbourne. Our hospital provides a wide range of services to its community.
- We specialise in orthopaedics, general surgery, general medicine, oncology, cardiology, urology, plastic surgery, ENT, and gynaecology.
- AHPRA registration is mandatory.
- Experience in ED/Critical Care/ICU is highly desirable.
- Triage experience is preferable.
- Acute hospital working experience of 2+ years is required.
- A Working With Children check is necessary.
- A commitment to quality patient care is expected.
- ACSQHC National standards compliance is essential.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills are required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are crucial.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
