Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nurse

At our leading veterinary hospital, we are seeking an experienced ECC nurse to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our emergency and critical care department, you will be working closely with our team of skilled professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
This is a part-time role, minimum 20 hours a week, offering flexibility and autonomy in your work schedule. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality nursing care and are eager to expand your skills and knowledge in the exciting world of emergency and critical care, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As an ECC nurse at our hospital, you will have the chance to work on a variety of roles including ICU and hospital nursing, support roles as well as triage and patient stabilization. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including specialists in emergency & critical care, who always look out for and encourage one another.
- We seek applicants who possess qualifications as a Veterinary Nurse, minimum Certificate IV or equivalent
- Applicants must demonstrate at least 2 years' experience in the veterinary industry as a nurse
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instruction, but also demonstrating initiative
- A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration
- The ability to adapt to change and handle the unpredictable
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- Experience in emergency and referral hospitals is preferable but not essential
- Flexible work arrangements to suit your needs
