Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking an enthusiastic part-time veterinary nurse to join our dynamic team in the Emergency and Critical Care department.
As a critical care veterinary nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in emergency settings. Your role will involve working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of veterinarians, specialists, and nurses. You will also develop and maintain strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in emergency settings
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of veterinarians, specialists, and nurses
- Develop and maintain strong communication skills
- Participate in hospital rounds and contribute to case discussions
- Assist with triage, patient stabilization, and anaesthetic monitoring
Requirements:
- Qualifications as a veterinary nurse (Certificate IV or equivalent)
- At least 2 years' experience in the veterinary industry as a nurse
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instruction
- A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change
- Ability to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends
