Genesis Minerals Limited: Permanent Opportunity for Environmental Advisor

The role of Environmental Advisor at Genesis Minerals Limited offers a permanent opportunity to join our Health, Safety and Environment team based at our Laverton Operations. You will be working on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster or similar.

We are seeking an experienced professional with relevant qualifications in Environmental Science or equivalent and practical understanding of environmental regulatory environments, best practice and general environmental systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Environmental Support: Providing specialist environment support and services to Laverton Operations consistent with minimising risk to the environment and in a manner that complies with environmental legislation and licence conditions.
  • Reporting: Reporting to the Senior Environmental Advisor, you will contribute to ensuring the effective operation of the Company's Environment Management System across the Operations.
  • Guidance: Providing guidance to the Operations Teams to meet internal and external environmental compliance obligations.
  • Data Collection: Contributing to the collection, storage and interpretation of reliable environmental data and records.
  • Environmental Services: Assisting in providing timely, accurate and relevant environmental management-related services and support.
  • Compliance Inspections: Carry out workplace environmental compliance inspections and provide coaching and instruction to employees and contractors.
  • Reporting: Ensuring timely, accurate reporting (internal/external) to Environmental Superintendent and other relevant internal and external parties.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
