Speech Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Therapist to join our organization in providing therapy services to clients with communication difficulties associated with a range of disabilities.

About the Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, fluency and swallowing abilities of clients using standardised tests and other assessment tools.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans and goals that target specific areas of difficulty and are tailored to the clients' needs.
  • Provide evidence-based and culturally responsive therapy to individuals, families and groups in a range of settings.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress towards achieving their goals and update treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, documentation and reports for each client in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide education, support and training to families, carers and support workers.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy.
  • An active license to practice Speech Therapy in Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience working with clients across all ages, backgrounds and cultures with a diverse range of communication and swallowing difficulties and a range of disabilities.
  • Knowledge and experience in delivering services under a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) framework.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-working skills.
