Job Title: Home Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in Fairfield. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers in their own homes.

About the Role:
  • Provide personal care and domestic assistance to customers, including cleaning, meal preparation, and social support.
  • Assist customers with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to customers, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements:
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • Current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays and occasional weekends.
