Senior Care Assistant Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to elderly individuals. This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and contributing to their overall wellbeing and comfort.

  • This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team to deliver services that uphold dignity and respect while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.
Job Details
  • Job Type: Casual
  • Pay Rate: $38.11 – $41.59 per hour
  • Work Location: In person
  • Schedule: Shift work (including weekends or public holidays, if required)
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care, mobility, hygiene, and daily routines.
  • Support residents during meal times, including basic preparation and feeding assistance.
  • Maintain clean and hygienic living spaces.
  • Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
  • Follow care plans and report any changes in client needs or behaviour.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with aged care standards and protocols.

Essential Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
