Recycling Operations Assistant

We are seeking an experienced truck driver to join our metal recycling operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful contribution in a dynamic work environment while working directly with a highly experienced individual in a varied and interesting role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive marrel and flat bed trucks to service customers, operate crane and bin lift (truck license and experience desirable)
  • Process materials
  • Assist the team in sorting and processing materials through machinery where necessary
  • Oxy cutting and welding (experience desirable but not essential)

Requirements:

  • Truck and forklift license
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever reasonably required
  • Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous knowledge and understanding of scrap metal processing
  • Excavator/operator experience
  • Oxy Cutting/Welding experience
