Home Care Support WorkerJob Summary:

Wellways seeks a passionate, empathetic, and caring individual to join our team as a Home Care Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will provide person-centred support to clients in the community, working collaboratively within a tight-knit team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred support to clients in the community.
  • Work collaboratively within a team and follow directions from managers.
  • Respond to client needs with empathy, calmness, and resilience.
  • Maintain safety and wellbeing of participants and comply with relevant policies.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services or related fields (an advantage but not mandatory).
  • A current valid Driver's License and a registered, insured vehicle.
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check (less than 12 months old) and Working with Children Check.
  • Manual handling training desirable.
  • Rights to work in Australia.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours on a fortnightly roster.
  • Availability and willingness to use personal smartphone (iPhone or Android).
  • Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
