Position Overview

The role of Service Administrator is crucial in enhancing the efficiency of our Branch Service team. You will contribute significantly in the following areas:

  1. Actively participating as a key member of the Service team.
  2. Supporting the Service Department in meeting corporate performance indicators.
  3. Managing multiple responsibilities while adhering to deadlines.
  4. Collaborating with various departments within the branch and the broader Cummins organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To excel in this position, the following skills and tasks are essential:
  2. Coordinating administrative support for service operations to ensure timely completion of all processes.
  3. Managing service invoicing and finalizing service jobs within designated business systems.
  4. Creating, maintaining, and processing purchase orders and local procurement.
  5. Handling Accounts Payable functions.
  6. Inputting labor data onto repair work orders within the appropriate business systems.
  7. Executing payroll-related tasks.
  8. Assisting in Work In Progress (WIP) and Project In Progress (PIP) management aligned with business KPIs.
  9. Collaborating with Customer Service Advisors to facilitate service event processing.

Qualifications

  1. Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  2. Capability to prioritize competing tasks effectively.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently as necessary.
  4. Proficient computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with accounting software is advantageous.
  5. Willingness to assist with additional general service administration tasks as needed.
