Job Description

We are seeking talented researchers to join our Centre for Translational Data Science. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will play a key role in advancing our understanding of complex phenomena through data-driven approaches.

  • Contribute to the development of novel mathematical and statistical structures for probabilistic modeling.
  • Pursue cutting-edge research in decision-making, with a focus on creating actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Explore the ethics of data handling, bias, and machine learning algorithms, ensuring responsible innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD (or equivalent) in statistics, machine learning, or a related field, obtained within the last 5 years.
  • Proven expertise in statistics and/or machine learning, with a strong track record of publications and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary research environments.
  • Knowledge of Bayesian methodology is desirable.
  • Previous experience working in multidisciplinary research groups, with a strong commitment to collaborative research.
