Strategic Business Data Partner

The role of the Strategic Business Data Partner is to collaborate with business units to drive data-driven decision making through improved use of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their pain points and provide solutions that address business challenges through insightful data analysis.
  • Partner with business units to create meaningful insights that inform strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Support teams by providing actionable data insights, enabling informed decision making across the organisation.
  • Foster cross-functional connections to promote collaboration and positive working relationships among stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for impactful business unit partnerships and develop strategies to drive successful collaborations.

Requirements:

  • Natural ability to build rapport and influence across a wide range of stakeholders, from business leaders to other internal partners.
  • Proactive and strategic mindset with an ability to operationalise solutions that propel the business forward on its data journey.
  • High integrity and transparency when delivering work and known for problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience in similar business partnering, technical delivery or analysis roles, where building rapport and providing support services are primary focuses.
  • Expertise in using data and analytics to draw relevant, actionable insights that inform decision-making and deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Knowledge across analytics platforms, data visualisation tools, machine learning technologies, and data engineering methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills with senior leadership levels.
