About the Role

As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy to patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients, ensuring accurate and safe administration of radiation.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct pre-treatment and treatment responsibilities, including patient assessment and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated technical competence in radiation therapy, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation therapy and associated allied healthcare services.
  • Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA and current licence with the EPA.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
