• Undertake radiation therapy pre-treatment and treatment responsibilities, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of patient care.

• Administer radiation therapy processes and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and patient safety.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain established patient care standards, prioritizing patient comfort and well-being.
• Liaise with healthcare team members to plan and deliver patient services, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
• Provide patients with relevant information and materials related to radiation therapy, promoting informed decision-making and patient empowerment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy techniques and modalities, ensuring expertise and proficiency in your role.

  Requirements:

  • Demonstrated technical competence in radiotherapy, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary modalities and techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, promoting collaboration and open communication.
  • Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services, ensuring a high level of expertise and proficiency.
  • Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Current licence with the EPA, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care, prioritizing patient comfort and well-being.
