About the Role

Our organisation is committed to delivering high-quality services that promote professional development and community engagement. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support services to individuals with complex needs.

The successful candidate will be based in Hobart and work within a flexible framework that includes in-home visits, clinic-based sessions, and outreach across the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with participants and stakeholders
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop and implement tailored Behaviour Support Plans
  • Provide education and training to carers and support teams
  • Review and reduce restrictive practices in line with NDIS guidelines
  • Monitor outcomes through regular data collection

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences)
  • Be endorsed as 'Proficient' or above against the PBS Capability Framework (with evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission required)
  • Hold full Australian working rights
  • Have prior experience in community, private or acute settings
  • Have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver's licence
  • Hold an NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check
