About the Role
We are seeking a talented Key Account Manager to join our team at Ampcontrol. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue within our nominated account package. This will involve developing close relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new opportunities, and executing strategies to achieve business objectives.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales, with experience selling ongoing services, products, and solutions within the Electrical Manufacturing sector. They will also possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers
- Identify new opportunities and develop plans to pursue them
- Monitor and report on sales performance and progress towards goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive growth and revenue
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience selling ongoing services, products, and solutions within the Electrical Manufacturing sector supporting the Mining, Utilities, or Heavy Industrial industries
- An Electrical Trade OR Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business or Electrical Engineering (Desirable)
- A current full Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers
- Prior experience working in a role involving performance indicators, sales targets, and reports
- A strong service orientation with high levels of initiative
- Ability to work interstate and intrastate as required
