Transformation is underway in the realm of Cyber Defense and Security Operations. Avanade's Integrated Center of Excellence for Security has a unique opportunity for an experienced Cyber Defense expert to join our Global Cybersecurity Center of Excellence.

This role involves pre-sales and delivery, focusing on helping clients solve complex Cyber Defense business challenges across Cloud Providers, Microsoft 365 platform, end user devices, and identity infrastructures.

As a member of the Integrated Center of Excellence for Security, you will work on exciting, complex, and leading-edge projects, transforming client Cyber Defense and Security Operations strategy, capabilities, and operations through design and implementation of Microsoft Defender and Sentinel based Extended Endpoint Detection and Response (XDR) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Microsoft Defender and Sentinel based XDR capabilities.
  • Contribute to shaping clients' future Cyber Defense and Security Operations strategy.
  • Solution and deliver clients' future capabilities, enabling them to detect, protect, and respond to security incidents.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Sentinel and its integration into Security Operations, including SOAR capabilities via Sentinel Playbooks.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint solutions to protect, detect, and respond to cyber incidents on endpoints across all major operating systems.
  • Proven experience with design and implementation of Microsoft Defender for Identity for user and entity behavioral analytics and how these services can be used to identify and defend against identity compromise.
  • Experience performing use case development and rules that can be applied to consolidate events across disparate systems and used to identify an attack chain across systems.
  • Proven experience performing threat hunting across endpoints, identities, networking, cloud, and collaboration platforms.
