Job Description:We are seeking a reliable and experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join our team and support ongoing structural steel projects.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who can confidently manage a small paint bay and carry out repetitive, high-quality industrial spray-painting work on structural steel components.
Key Responsibilities:- Industrial spray painting of structural steel
- Manage and supervise a small paint bay team
- Check and mark off load lists for accuracy and job readiness
- Assist with loading trucks and preparing finished goods for dispatch
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
- Previous industrial spray-painting experience
- Strong attention to detail – ability to interpret and tick off load lists is crucial
- Forklift licence – Essential
- Truck licence – Advantageous but not essential
- No formal qualifications necessary, just a solid work ethic and relevant experience
- Previous leading hand experience – desirable
- Stable, ongoing work with a respected engineering business
- Supportive team environment
- Opportunity to take on a supervisory function in the paint bay
