Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or asset management.
  • At least 8 years of experience in asset management, maintenance engineering or maintenance work management within mining or a related heavy industry.
  • Proven expertise managing HME and fixed plant asset portfolios.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
  • High proficiency with CMMS systems, Oracle Cloud experience is an advantage.
  • A strong grasp of ISO 55000 principles, maintenance strategy development and lifecycle costing principles.
  • Practical experience in capital project planning, major shutdown optimisation and integrating ESG considerations into asset management.

This senior asset specialist position allows you to shape the future of our asset management function. You will work closely with our asset manager to implement frameworks, influence strategy and support a dedicated team to optimize performance, reliability and lifecycle value of critical assets.
