Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Operators to operate a variety of heavy machinery and mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the operation of mobile plant equipment, possess a keen eye for safety, and be capable of working in diverse environments and conditions.

Machines
  • CAT/KOMATSU Mobile Plant
  • Excavators, Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Watercarts & Dump trucks
  • Other mobile plant as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mobile plant machinery, such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, watercarts, and dump trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs as needed. Report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials using mobile plant equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Promote a safe and positive team culture.

Skills/Qualifications
  • Current & Valid Driver's License (HR Preferred)
  • National Police Clearance (validity dependant on site)
  • High Risk Forklift Licence (Desirable)
  • Proven experience operating mobile plant in a mining, civil or crushing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety.
