Project Delivery Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Delivery Expert to play a key role in ensuring that projects achieve their desired outcomes, with a focus on implementing new systems and changes to existing ones.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in project delivery, including implementing software solutions to address complex business challenges. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of projects by collaborating with stakeholders to design system, data, and functional changes.

You should be a self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to lead teams, and a drive to achieve results.

You will need to think on your feet and be comfortable working with agile teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership for projects.
  • Lead and manage the implementation of projects by collaborating with stakeholders to design system, data, and functional changes.
  • Define detailed change impact assessments for data, system, and application functions.
  • Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of your project team and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Share best practices and learnings across the project delivery portfolio to continually enhance the project delivery framework.
  • Provide analysis of relevant research and operational information to assist managers.
  • Participate in your team's operating rhythm and provide progress updates.
About You:
  • This role typically requires 8 or more years of experience in your field.
  • You must have at least 5 years of specific experience as a Delivery Lead using Agile methods.
  • Extensive experience in organizing and facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint and release planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demos is required.
  • Experience with Agile and/or hybrid methodologies is highly desirable.
  • You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be organized, systematic, and accurate.
  • You should be flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations, and have excellent active listening skills.
