Guest Services Representative

This role involves creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional customer service and support throughout their stay.

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, aiming to learn and use guest names consistently to enhance the experience.
  • Efficiently and accurately assist guests with check-in and check-out processes while maintaining accurate records.
  • Offer valuable information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to elevate the guest experience.
  • Upsell products and promotions as needed to drive revenue growth.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure seamless coordination with other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Manage room reservations efficiently, including making new bookings, modifying existing ones, and processing cancellations.
  • Process transactions accurately and maintain confidentiality of all guest data.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable lobby, front desk area, and common spaces.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs to exceed expectations.
  • Assist with transportation, dining, and entertainment arrangements to further enhance the guest experience.
  • Stay informed about hotel policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance.
  • Complete daily tasks within set timeframes and maintain accuracy in financial transactions.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality, is beneficial.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential for accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective guest and colleague interactions.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including property management systems and accounting software, is required.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are vital for prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
