We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Neurology and Stroke Unit at a reputable hospital.
This exciting opportunity is available on a full-time or part-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be working in a collaborative ward supported by a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe care and enhanced patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the healthcare team to achieve quality patient care outcomes.
- Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current experience in an acute hospital environment.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
About the Team:
The Neurology and Stroke Unit is a thirty-bed ward with eight high-dependency monitored stroke beds. The unit receives patients directly from emergency who are ineligible for thrombolysis treatment, post-transfer from Intensive Care after thrombectomy interventions, and conservative dissection management.
The team is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and strives to create a positive work environment that values respect and inclusivity.
