About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker/Personal Carer to join our team. As a Support Worker/Personal Carer, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

  • Assist with daily living tasks, mobility support, and personal care to ensure the client's comfort and safety.
  • Support clients with their community involvement, social activities, and meal preparation to enhance their quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate records of support provided, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to relevant policies.

In this role, you will be required to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. A strong understanding of person-centered care principles and NDIS policies is essential for success in this position.

Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience as a Support Worker/Personal Carer, specifically in disability services, is required.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification, as well as a valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport, are necessary for this role.
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check is also required (or willingness to obtain).
