Customer Due Diligence Manager

About the Role
The Customer Due Diligence Manager is a critical position within our Merchant Risk Operations team, responsible for ensuring the effective management of customer risk in compliance with AML/CTF Rules, Scheme Rules, and other regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Risk Analysts and Specialists, overseeing day-to-day operations, work allocation, and prioritization.
- Develop and maintain CDD systems, processes, and procedural documentation.
- Implement and continuously review AML/CTF Program (Part A and Part B) for CDD.
- Manage reporting obligations under AUSTRAC, including key performance indicators and service level agreements.
- Provide subject matter expertise on AML/CTF Rules, including KYC and ACIP.
- Collaborate with Sales and Second Line functions to ensure optimized onboarding processes and effective risk management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a senior Customer Due Diligence role, with knowledge of KYC, AML, and CTF.
- 3+ years of proven leadership and team management skills.
- Experience working with AUSTRAC as a Reporting Entity under the AML/CTF Act.
- Knowledge of Australian and International Sanctions and Politically Exposed Person requirements.
