Thriving in a dynamic work environment, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to develop skills in structural drafting. You will be part of a collaborative team working on exciting and prestigious projects, with extensive on-the-job training and mentoring provided.

You will be responsible for developing technical skills in the latest discipline-specific engineering technologies and gaining vast experience as part of our trainee draftsperson program. Successful applicants will complete their engineering studies at TAFE, usually one day a week, as part of an industry-recognised traineeship. The other four days will be based in the office, where you will work closely with professional and experienced teams.

Key Requirements
  • Recent completion of school certificate or HSC, or started drafting course at TAFE
  • Strong computer literacy with keen interest in technical drawing
  • Exposure to packages such as AutoCAD is highly desirable
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm and passion for construction and engineering industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
