Job Role: Disability Support Worker

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to support clients with mental health, physical and intellectual disabilities in a 1:1 setting within their home and in the community.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Supporting clients with daily living tasks, including personal care and mobility assistance.
  • Managing accurate and detailed shift reports, including progress notes and incident reports.
  • Administration of medication, meal preparation, diabetes management, epilepsy management, PEG feeding and bladder & bowel care.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 months paid experience supporting individuals living with disabilities.
  • Minimum Cert III or higher in a relevant field.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Working with children check & NDIS Worker Check.
  • National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Driver licence and own comprehensively insured car preferred.
