Hospitality Support Role Overview

Our care home in the East Latrobe Valley offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

We have 120 beds and various care units, with a strong focus on health, lifestyle, and well-being.

  • Achieve positive outcomes by providing effective support to our hospitality function, including catering, cleaning, and laundry services.

About You

Previous experience in catering or food service is preferred but not essential. We're looking for a team player who enjoys interacting with people and making a genuine impact on our residents' lives.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety, quality, and hygiene.
  • Completing required documentation and reporting.
  • Responding to residents' queries and requests.
  • Loading washers and dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping, or ironing linen.
  • Assisting with basic food prep, providing meals and snacks, clearing dining areas, and dishwashing.
  • General cleaning duties, including mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal, and living areas.
