This key role will play a pivotal part in the department's rollout of comprehensive risk management and business continuity frameworks.
Responsibilities:- Provide strategic guidance to the leadership team on matters related to risk assessment, mitigation, and compliance.
- Develop and deliver targeted training initiatives to enhance risk management capabilities across the organization.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and review of the organization's risk management framework, policy, and procedures.
- Offer expert advice to management and staff on contemporary risk management issues, trends, and best practices.
- Research and analyze complex performance and risk management challenges in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Foster effective working relationships with managers and staff impacted by risk management activities.
- Advanced qualifications in Business Management or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within a government environment.
- Leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
