About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our multidisciplinary engineering team. As Rail Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for driving design innovation, value engineering, and best practices across projects teams and the broader business.

The Opportunity

As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee the delivery of brownfields projects. Your expertise in project management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of these initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team of engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve design innovation, value engineering, and best practices across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you will require:

A bachelor's degree in engineering (4-year duration) accredited by Engineers Australia.A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar engineering project delivery environment.Familiarity with rail operations and standards, specifically in the Pilbara region.Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute complex projects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
