">About the Role">

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Assistant Track Inspector to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

This role will see you travelling to Aurizon's Yards, Terminals and Sidings located across Southern WA. You will work closely with our Track Inspector, gathering knowledge and insights to grow and become more confident in performing rail infrastructure inspections.

As part of this role, you will have opportunities to expand your horizon by working with other teams or in different locations across our national footprint.

">Key Responsibilities">

  • Assist the Track Inspector in planning, organisation, communication, and leadership for safe and efficient delivery of rail infrastructure inspections.">
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant standards.">
  • Ensure all work is performed in a cost-efficient and timely manner.">
  • Record faults in accordance with relevant processes and procedures.">

  • ">
  • Cert II in Rail Infrastructure (mandatory)">
  • Unrestricted 'C' Class Driver Licence (mandatory)">
  • Strong commitment to safety">
  • Good written and verbal communication skills">
  • Able to understand rail infrastructure maintenance, inspection standards, systems and processes">
