We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering leader to drive the delivery of our cloud-based data platforms and analytics services.

About The Role

As a key member of our high-performing data and analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and related tools.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and related tools.
  • Build and optimize data storage solutions (e.g. Azure SQL, Data Lake, Delta/Parquet).
  • Enable advanced analytics use cases across large and complex datasets.
  • Support operational decision-making through reliable, high-quality data pipelines.
  • Lead and mentor other engineers, including code reviews and feedback on best practices.
  • Collaborate with analysts, architects, and SMEs to align delivery to business needs.
  • Contribute to data governance uplift and capability maturity across the section.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, ideally with leadership or mentoring exposure.
  • Strong experience designing and building ETL/ELT solutions in cloud environments (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with distributed computing engines (e.g. Spark, Databricks) and data modeling for performance.
  • Hands-on experience across tools such as Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Data Lake Storage, Visual Studio, and DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-based data services, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Must hold (or be eligible to obtain) Baseline security clearance.
