Senior Automation Test Analyst

This role combines automation and manual testing, providing a unique opportunity for impact.

About the Role
  • Develop and enhance automation test frameworks for backend APIs and frontend UI to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Add automated test cases and run/maintain automated tests to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for daily regression testing to streamline processes and reduce costs.
  • Manual testing responsibilities include developing/test cases, estimating timeframes, creating test data, executing tests, reporting progress, and escalating issues to improve overall testing capabilities.
  • Improve testing practices, participate in team meetings, manage Jira issues, collaborate across teams, and share knowledge to elevate testing capabilities and promote a culture of excellence.
About You
  • Strong experience in testing backend APIs using Postman and Bruno is essential.
  • Good understanding of UI development, API's, interface contracts, XML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, and technical ability to test API's, frontend, and backend is required.
  • Strong experience in test automation of digital applications involving backend APIs and frontend UI is necessary.
  • Creativity and initiative in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitHub for daily automated regression test runs is key.
  • Experience in creating and managing test automation frameworks (codeceptJS, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber BDD) is highly valued.
  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright for API and web application testing is crucial.
  • Writing feature files and scenarios in Gherkin language for BDD testing with Cucumber is essential.
  • Cross-browser testing using Browser Stack is necessary.
  • Exposure to AI automation tools for digital applications is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in functional, integration, API, automation, and cross-browser testing on web-based and mobile applications is required.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence is beneficial.
  • Leading testing activities within the team is a must.
  • Experience working in an Agile Delivery model is highly valued.
