Test Automation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team. As a Test Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement automated testing frameworks using Selenium and other tools
* Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of our software applications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
* Identify and report defects found during testing
* Develop and maintain test automation infrastructure including build and deployment pipelines
* Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in test automation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 4-8 years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation
  • Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java
    * Experience with API automation testing and RESTful APIs
    * Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and build automation tools like Maven and Gradle
    * Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
    * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Cucumber, BDD, TDD, and behavior-driven development
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services like AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of code version control systems like Git and SVN
