The opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join the E-7 Programs Development Team in Brisbane, Queensland.
This dynamic role will also require you to work collaboratively with a number of projects in E-7 Programs including Sustainment and International.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Support program leadership team and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with the successful execution of the project through project coordination activities in accordance with Project Management Best Practices
- Coordination of the Development project's operating rhythm and completion of associated reporting activities
- Coordination of Risk, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) management across the Development Program
- Coordination of the monthly program change board with integration requirements into block projects
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of key project management documents, artefacts and processes
- Coordination of workforce planning meetings and associated activities
- Responsible for action item management governance, tracking, reporting and closeout
- Coordination of customer-facing meetings, for example but not limited to, the Joint Management Framework (JMF) meetings and Joint Wedgetail Enterprise Change Board (JWECB)
- Support Development program gate reviews and audit requirements (internal and external)
- Engage with project and customer stakeholders to support the development and upkeep of project specific documentation
- Monitor, analyse and report on project performance metrics. Summarise findings and develop recommendations for improvement
- Engage regularly with project stakeholders to confirm their progress in relation to their agreed project timelines
- Coordinate with the project team to debrief and compile any lessons learned and corresponding corrective actions

You are an analytical thinker and effective communicator who is comfortable working both autonomously and participating collaboratively across teams. You are someone who enjoys establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and you are willing to work with teams to review and drive continuous improvement.

Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Project Management or Coordination role
- Project management qualifications are desirable, but not essential
- Intermediate MS suite skills and experience
- Ability to effectively communicate and network across all levels of our business
- Ability to problem solve, provide critical thinking and adapt easily to fast changing situations.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian defence security clearance.
