Job Description

We are seeking a strategic Product Manager to lead the development of our Tools and Hardware portfolio. This role involves end-to-end management, from market analysis to product development, pricing, range planning, and supplier management.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with design, sales, and procurement teams to ensure our offering remains competitive, profitable, and trusted by both trade professionals and DIY users.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a comprehensive strategy for the Tools and Hardware category in line with market trends, customer demand, and professional user requirements
  • Conducting range reviews, managing the full product lifecycle, and identifying gaps and opportunities within the portfolio
  • Partnering with local and international suppliers on sourcing, innovation, and development of new tools with a focus on durability, safety, and ergonomic design
  • Monitoring category performance and making data-driven decisions to improve margin, turnover, and sell-through
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing to execute category plans, promotional activities, and trade events
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Ability to understand how customers use products and deliver improvements in function and quality
  • Collaborative mindset with strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
