Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the team with day-to-day measurement, analysis and reporting of the Bank's liquidity position and meeting regulatory requirements under APS 210 Liquidity.
  • Be involved in developing and enhancing the Bank's quantitative liquidity modelling infrastructure to maximise benefits for all areas of the Bank.
  • Data Analysis - Liquidity data mining and data analysis.
  • Support other team functions including system architecture and design, data within systems and data extraction and utilisation.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Banking and Finance, Commerce, Risk Management, Information Technology or a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics or Actuarial Science is preferred &/or 2-3 years of relevant banking experience.
  • Proficiency in coding, with R and/or SQL advantageous.
  • Highly skilled Microsoft Excel user with experience in a wide variety of Excel functions, building complex formulas and the use of multi-sheet and multi-workbook reporting frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Power BI highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of APS 210 Liquidity highly regarded.
  • Quantitative analytical capability highly regarded.
  • Previous Treasury experience highly regarded, especially Liquidity Risk.
  • Team player, curious, with a collaboration approach and drive to learn and grow.
