Residential Care Placement Manager

This role oversees the day-to-day running of a Residential Care placement based in Melbourne's Metro North area.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing positive relationships with children and young people, assisting them to deal with trauma-based responses, and promoting healing, emotional growth, and development of life skills.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Proven ability to contribute to Aboriginal children's emotional, physical, psychological, and cultural development.
- A high level of awareness of the key issues impacting Aboriginal communities.
- Experience in working therapeutically with Aboriginal children's pain-based behaviours and understanding the impact of trauma and disrupted attachment.
- Knowledge of Residential Care provision and ability to build and lead a small team.
